2011 FACILITY ONLY RENTAL
PRICING:
Weekend Package private facility
or retreat:
$5,500 to rent
entire facility for the weekend with nine (9)
overnight rooms. Friday & Saturday event
facility plus 9 overnight rooms. Effective
times Friday at 3:00 p.m. to Sunday at 12:00
p.m. Includes 9 upstairs rooms. Does not
include breakfast at Sara’s unless we are able
to leave breakfast set-up. If you do want
breakfast the breakfast set up has to remain and
the kitchen must be clear of your items by
breakfast time.
Doors open at 3:00
p.m. on Friday for setup. The property must be
cleaned up and everyone departed from property
by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. Extra time billed for
vendors or parties that arrive early or depart
later than specified on contract.
Event Facilities
used outside of times listed on contract are
billed at $250 per hour before event time and
$400 per hour after event time. Please be exact
on contract times and intentions for event space
or extra time will be billed. Approximate
number of people must be known for each event.
Facility Only/Sara’s
will provide the following:

60” round, and 7 - 48” round (no linens).

Up to 25 chairs

4 banquet tables
(no linens).

One bar (no
linens).

Does not include
and dishes, glassware, silverware, serving
items, etc. Includes only items 1-4 above.

Please note that
ice chests are not allowed inside the Garden
Room. Please keep them in the kitchen or
outside areas.

Decorating and discarding: Once you
have rented the Garden Room/Garden Area, you
may decorate it any way you like as long as
it does not damage any of the structure i.e.
nails, staples, etc. will not be permitted.
No glitter, confetti, rice or birdseed. You
are responsible for removing all decorations
during your rental/clean-up time. All
decorations must be discarded in trash bags
(please bring your own) in our commercial
trash receptacle. Please remove any boxes
from the premises. Decorations/trash
(boxes) that do not fit into two large trash
receptacles. We are limited in our
capacity and ask that you remove any large
boxes or other items that do not fit into
the two commercial trash receptacles.

PARKING
is available on the street. Heights
Boulevard and surrounding streets are mostly
commercial and have ample parking for your
guests.

CLEAN UP:
The Inn, as part of your rental, takes care
of general housekeeping. You (or your
caterer) will be responsible for all cleanup
of decorations, food, beverages, and trash.

EVENT TIME:
The specific times for rental are listed in
this contract. Extra event time is at a
rate of $250 per hour before event time, and
$400 after event time. Please note extra
time billed in whole hours not fractional.

CATERER:
Must be pre-approved by Sara’s. Caterer
must have Certificate of Insurance covering
themselves and all their employees, Food
Permit and be certified by City of Houston.

VENDORS:
All vendors must provide Certificate of
Insurance or sign Waiver of Liability.
Sara’s is not responsible for outside
vendors, their staff, etc.

ALCOHOL:
Sara’s Inn Inc. cannot serve, sell or handle
alcoholic beverages. If alcohol is served
you must use certified bartenders to serve
the alcohol. You must also purchased
private event insurance listing Sara’s as
additionally insured. Sara’s assumes no
responsibility for alcohol on premises. Two
Off duty police officer must be hired if
serving alcohol on premise. Alcohol may not
be served by someone attending the event.

DEPOSIT COVERS FOLLOWING:

Damages to the
Inn by the responsible party and/or your
invited guests. The responsible party will
be held responsible for any unsupervised
children for they can cause injury to
themselves and damage to the Inn and its
surroundings

Your guests
(responsible party, caterers, invited
guests, staff, etc.) should arrive and leave
no earlier or later than scheduled on this
contract. Extra time applies if outside of
contract hours.

Any damages or
additional time that may occur that was not
covered by the damage deposit will be due
and payable immediately.
Sara’s Bed &
Breakfast Inn is not responsible for any
injuries to any party or your invited guests.
If any of your guests have special needs please
inform Sara’s ahead of time. Sara’s is not
responsible for alcoholic beverages on
premises. Responsible party booking event
assumes all responsibility for guest’s safety
and consumption of alcoholic beverages.

private event insurance listing Sara’s as
